Since you're not going anywhere under lockdown, why not travel from shore to shore virtually with King of Seas? This action RPG is coming to PlayStation 4 next month on 18th February 2021, priced at £24.99/$24.99. The trailer above does a good job of explaining your isometric role in the pirating ordeal, but essentially you're looking to become the king of all illegal treasure hunters. Of course, PlayStation 5 owners will be able to play the game via backwards compatibility.
The world will be procedurally generated as you explore it, which a press release says is inhabited by "amazing characters and breathtaking missions". Developer 3DClouds is talking a big game then. Will you take up the task of becoming pirate overlord in King of Seas? Walk the plank in the comments below.

Age of Booty: Repirated
@Gaming365247 Can’t believe Sea of Thieves invented pirates. Besides, Sid Meier’s Pirates is the quintessential pirate game.
Amazing! Nay, Breathtaking!
In case anyone actually takes the trolls seriously, I just want to say this looks like it plays extremely differently than Sea of Thieves and the comparison is about the equivalent to saying that Halo is a rip off of Contra.
Wait so it's all in ship and no land exploration?
@nessisonett honestly the best pirate game I played is ac black flag, I know a lot of people might not agree but I want an all in one with exploring cities, jungles, land etc.
@Sladey69 I dunno, I revisited Black Flag a couple of months ago and it wasn’t as fun as I remembered. The pirate stuff wasn’t fleshed out enough and neither was the assassin stuff, it would be interesting if they separated the two!
I can't put this game on my PS4 wishlist because there is none. Thanks Sony.
Will be waiting for reviews on this one. Love Sid Meiers Pirates! on the OG Xbox. Hopefully it's got some of the spirit of that game in it.
Like some of the others here, I got my hopes up for a Sid Meier's Pirates type game too (I played that endlessly on C64 as a kid) but this looks like much more of an arcade shooter type of experience.
This reminded me more of Overboard on PS1 that Pirates, it still looks like it could be fun and hopefully Push Square will be providing a review?
